Ceramic Wall Installation - Arkansas Children’s Hospital

As an artist-in-residence at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Ann Owens, along with Hamid Ebrahmifar, work with patients to create murals and installations for hospital waiting rooms, corridors, and treatment rooms. Owens and Ebrahimihar guide, instruct, and assist children in creating the works.

Hospitals around the country continue to recognize the importance of creating a healing environment for patients and families.

Color, light, murals and installations create uplifting, warm spaces which can greatly reduce the stress and anxiety associated with a hospital stay and medical procedures
